Registration and acceptance

Submitting a form does not by itself guarantee a place in an event. Entry is confirmed only after DBL accepts the registration and communicates any required payment, roster, eligibility, or waiver steps. The Prairie Bowl team registration price is $150.

Refunds, withdrawals, and cancellation

Because event commitments vary, the applicable refund deadline and any non-refundable amount will be communicated during registration or confirmation. Teams should request written clarification before submitting payment if those terms are not included. Withdrawal requests must be sent to DBL as soon as possible and are reviewed based on timing, bracket status, venue commitments, and event expenses.

If DBL cancels or materially reschedules an event, registered teams will receive direct instructions regarding rescheduling, credits, or any available registration-fee refund. DBL does not reimburse travel, lodging, lost income, or other incidental expenses.

Participant waiver information

Basketball and event participation involve risks, including contact, falls, collisions, physical exertion, and possible injury. Players may be required to sign an assumption-of-risk, release, publicity, and emergency-care authorization before participating. No participant may compete until all required event documents are complete.

Participants are responsible for determining whether they are physically able to play and for maintaining appropriate personal health or accident coverage. This webpage is a general summary and does not replace the official waiver or tournament rules.

Conduct and safety

Players, coaches, spectators, and representatives are expected to follow venue policies, official rules, staff directions, and standards of respectful conduct. DBL may remove or disqualify anyone whose behavior threatens safety, disrupts competition, damages property, or undermines the event.

Weather and operational changes

DBL may adjust schedules, competition formats, check-in procedures, or venue operations when needed for safety or event integrity. Material changes will be communicated through available registration contact information and official DBL channels.
